REGISTRATION
Complete the registration process to obtain full access to all sections of the site and the auctions. Registration on the website is very simple and consists of several steps. Use our simplified form to specify your personal data. This information is required for registration of vehicles purchased in accordance with the laws of the United States. Your registration details will be used for documents when sending vehicles, as well as for sending documents by mail.
Registration allows you to get access to advanced site search resources. Once all the personal data is entered you will receive an e-mail confirmation to your email address. After confirmation of the email address, registration will be completed and you can start making a deposit, which will allow you to bid on selected vehicles.
DEPOSIT
You must place a 100% refundable security deposit, to be able to place bids. To start buying and placing bids you need to make 100% of the refundable deposit. When you purchase a vehicle, the deposit is 10% of the cost, but not less than $500. When you buy two or more vehicles it is necessary to make a deposit for each of them.
Your deposit is 100% refundable, and determines your bidding limit. If you haven't purchased a car, you may request a refund of your deposit at any time. Your deposit must be a minimum of $500, or 10%, of your allowable maximum bid. You may pay deposit using credit card, paypal or bank wire transfer.
VEHICLE SEARCH
Begin your search right from the CAROMOTO homepage.
Use the search engine for auctions to select the vehicle, select the appropriate item.
CAROMOTO's Search is a search engine that allows you to find the vehicles that interest you most, across all of our auction's inventories.
Click on Search Vehicles in the header, where you can search by make, model, vehicle type, year and location. Narrow down your search results using our search filters.
BIDDING
Use the search engine for auctions to select the vehicle, select the appropriate item, go to the card of the lot and in the field "Your bid" specify the maximum amount of dollars you are willing to pay. When placing a bid in the auction Manheim use auction sales statistics to determine more accurately the amount of the bid.
In your personal account, section Bids, you can view, edit or delete rate, but no later than 1 hour before the start of trading.
To purchase a vehicle outside the auction, use a special form Buy Vehicle where you can select make, model, year, direct Internet link to the matching vehicle as well as your maximum amount that you are willing to pay. Our staff will check the data and will contact the seller after the purchase and will send you a message by email.
PAYMENT
After receiving confirmation of the purchase, you will receive invoice and bank details to which you you can transfer the amount indicated in the invoice. The invoice includes the following costs: vehicle’s price based on the auction, the auction fee, transportation from the auction to the port, International shipping (Ocean freight), and cost of sending documents, and CAROMOTO dealer’s fee $195. Payment for purchased vehicles should go to the account of the company CAROMOTO within 2 (two) business days after the auction local time (Eastern Time).
In case of delay in payment, there will be extra fee of $50 for each day, starting from the third business day from the date of purchase.
Payments must be made by bank wire transfer only.
SHIPPING
We will deliver the purchased vehicle to the port, provide all necessary documents, and send it to your specified destination.
After receiving your full payment, our staff will organize a transportation of your vehicle to the port. Delivery time varies from 2 to 10 days, depending on the location of the purchased vehicle.
When shipping vehicles by sea to a destination, we use the services of the company leaders in the market which allow us to offer low cost shipping, as well as to ensure the rapid consolidation of goods in different directions. At this time, we use two main ports for sending the purchased vehicles, the ports of New Jersey and Los Angeles. There is a free storage for your vehicle in our warehouse for 30 days, during which you will need to provide us with details of your address.
After sending the vehicle on the sea, we will add a copy of the documents (Bill Of Lading) in your personal account, My Cars/Documents section. Original documents will be sent to you on the email address which you specified earlier during registration.
